Method 1 (NEHS)
Deku is the name of this level because it is shaped like a tree, the Japanese Deku Tree.
Jump into the area near the trunk of the tree, and get to the platform above the start. Keep jumping up, to the switch platform, up to another switch, and then to the area with the zap drone and the two switches. Flip both, and head down and inside the trunk. Be careful of the mine on your way down; try walljumping off of the spike that is above that mine. Activate the terminal, and jump out of the right of the tree, and wallclimb up to the exit level. Jump off of the wall, and into the exit.
Method 2 (Highscoring)
Instead of entering through the trunk, propel yourself through the small gap amongst the leaves at the left using a corner jump, squeezing right above the mine. Alternatively, use the trunk to enter the little space containing the three pieces of gold.
