Gold delay is a mapmaking tactic used in creating many maps, especially DDAs, by stacking multiple pieces of gold on top of each other. This trick uses gold to create a delayed reaction for an object. Its most common use is to cause a launchpad to delay launching the ninja. It can also be used with mines, switches, bounceblocks, thwumps and oneway platforms.
