At its peak, the N community was very large. The new Metanet Forums had a total membership of around 2000, while over 20,000 mapmakers and approximately 240,000 maps are recorded in NUMA's database.
Some of these members have gained popularity because of excellent maps and high ratings on NUMA (nevermore and Yahoozy, for example), while others are connected to N through the sheer mass of highscores they hold (such as EddyMataGallos or xaelar).
Some players are disliked by the community because they vote down good maps on NUMA, and others have been banned from the forums from flaming and behaving maliciously.
