The N community is very large. The new Metanet Forums have a total membership of over seven hundred, while over twenty thousand mapmakers are recorded in NUMA's database.
Some of these members have gained popularity because of excellent maps and high ratings on NUMA (nevermore, for example), while others are connected to N through the mass of highscores they hold (such as Johnny_faneca).
Some players are disliked by the community because they vote down good maps on NUMA, and others have been banned from the forums from flaming and behaving maliciously.
