Trib4lmaniac is an inactive former highscore grandmaster from England. He still had 151 Top-20 highscores and 1 0th to his name as of 26 November 2013. (59-0 [tied]). Trib4l lost his last non-tied 0th to EddyMataGallos on the last day of 2012.
Trib4l has held many impressive 0ths, numbering in the hundreds. He once was widely regarded as the most successful player of all time, taking 222 out of 360 possible 0ths on N 1.3. When N 1.4 was released in 2005, he extended his record for holding the most 0ths ever, when he reached his 267th 0th, shattering tktktk's original record. This record was finally surpassed by xaelar in 2009, when xaelar took his 268th 0th score, and again by EddyMataGallos in late 2012.
Trib4lmaniac is the second of only seven players to have ever held 100 0ths or more at one time, and the first of only four players to hold 200 or more 0ths at one time. Eventually, trib4lmaniac disappeared entirely from the N community for a long period of time (around 2007), but he has sporadically returned to the community by visiting #n-highscores, usually using the name 'Alex', and very rarely competing on NUMA userlevels using NReality. This was until 2012, when he stopped joining IRC, and he has never been seen since within the community.
Due to the age of trib4lmaniac's scores (and the continuously increasing skill and new innovations being discovered by the newer generations of highscorers), his current stats are much worse than the ones he actually had at his peak. Please refer to his personal bests on the right to see what he achieved during his prime.
For his outstanding 2005 year, he was awarded with the Dronie for Player of the Year.
According to ska's list of most influential N players of all time, trib4lmaniac was ranked 3rd.
